About Us

After serving aboard a US Navy ship in the Atlantic during World War II, Anthony Scardina returned home to Maryland looking for a career and a way to serve his community. He received his Master Plumbers License in 1948 and after gaining experience at several local firms opened Scardina Plumbing in 1950. Anthony's grandson, Jim began working part-time in the business from the time he was 10. In 1976, he joined his grandfather full time and today is President of Scardina Plumbing and Heating.

Because of the Scardina family's commitment to prompt, expert service, to getting the job done right the first time and to fair pricing, Scardina Plumbing and Heating has grown to be one of Maryland's most successful firms of it's kind.

Jim Scardina works in the field almost every day, supervising jobs, providing estimates, making sure customers are happy and his people uphold the company's outstanding reputation. Services have been expanded to include heating and cooling repair and replacement, full drain, sewer and septic service, gas line installation and service, bathroom and kitchen remodeling and whole house generators. Our fleet of vehicles serves Baltimore, Annapolis, Washington suburbs and all surrounding counties - Anne Arundel, Howard, Baltimore and Prince Georges Counties seven days a week.
